That was a huge game today. A win by NYY and they would've been one back with 6 to go. Now it's two and a Boston win/NYY loss tomorrow would put the Sox in the driver's seat to wrap it up.

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."
<< <i>Bottom line if either the Yankees or Red Sox can't beat the Angels or Cleveland they don't deserve to go to the big dance. >>
Wow, thanks for that amazing piece of information...you mean if team A doesn't beat team B in the playoffs they don't get to advance?
This must be new.

Dude, you made an idiotic statement, I called you on it, just admit it and move on.
<< <i> Regular season doesn't matter at all. Just look at the 2006 Yankees who totally dominated the Tigers in the regular season but lost the ALDS. >>
That is why I don't think it will matter who the Yankees face. That being said makes the East title just about meaningless at this point.

<< <i>Who am I? Puffing her chest she said "The Marinateds have a 3 game lead over the Yankees in the Wild Card Race. I am so proud of my Marinateds!" >>
Your intense dislike of Brian is noted, and in many ways certainly justified. That having been said, it's high time that someone informed you that you've used the word 'penultimate' incorrectly in your sig line.
Hint: 'penultimate' and 'ultimate' do not mean the same thing.
