Unemployment Set Project

Being that I am unemployed (going on just over a month), I figured, this may be a good time to start putting together some sets. Here is my mindset; I have a good start on a number of years, with lots of doubles and other stuff to offer. Here is my plan. I am going to choose one year from each decade (50s, 60s, and 70s) and build that set.

Here are some of the decisions I have made:
1. 1957 will be for the 50s.
2. Toss up b/w 1963, 65, 68.
3. 1973 hands down
4. I will try not to spend any money other then for shipping (until I am gainfully employed)
5. I will use trading, and bartering for accumulation of cards.
6. Condition is not overly important (as long as they are not beaters). As long as the corners aren't soft and there are no visible creases.

If anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears.

I have lots of singles from most years from 70-78 for any other set builders looking to trade.

I don't know your personal situation but if I were in your shoes there would be only ONE thing on my mind; hint: starts with a "J" and ends with a "B." Good luck to you!

For the record, I am doing some freelance work here and there. AND I am looking for employment.

But while I am looking, to keep my sanity, I plan on doing this as a project. It won't cost me lots of money, it will keep me busy, and when I am done, I will have an asset that does have value.
