1889 IHC DDR FND-001

Doubling is seen on ONE CENT, shield, right side of wreath, top of left side of the wreath, ribbon and arrow tips. Notice this coin seems to be one after done imaging.

All the reverse doubled dies show doubling more on the veins and central designs that around the outside. Are you sure it is not strike doubling? It doesn't match any variety listed, so if it is a DDR, it is new.

Not sure if it is or not Rick, my description was from the F.IND.ERS Report, which further says under comments, "Good seperation on the right side of the wreath. What struck me was how much the shield doubling matched up with the photo on page 146. They cross-reference it as an S-1 and CONECA 2-R-III. Unfortunately I don't have the best of loops and the wreaths are softly struck to begin with and coin was subject to an old cleaning and recoloring. It has that pinkish glow to it. image
