question about unopened FedEx box

Why would you not open the FedEx box that the Jeffersons came in? Isn't there another mint sealed package inside the FedEx box that would be considered unopened if you wanted to sell the coin as not cherry picked?

    DON'T DO IT!

That is the only sealed box there is.

There is NOT another sealed box inside.

Two words for ya. First Strike. They WILL NOT qualify for FS if the package is opened, unless you can reseal it without it being detectable.

  • Your name and shipping address are on an invoice inside that box as well. Whoever ultimately opens it will have this information.

If you sell it are you going to ship it as Joe Blow from Anytown, Ohio?

    Totally Wrong.

You have 1 month to get them graded at PCGS and get First Strike, the box can be opened.

If you send them to PCGS within the one month time frame. Open the box and send only the coin.

If your not sure what you want to do, don't open the box. It will then be eligible for FS, forever I guess.

Not opening boxes is only for those that buy into the first strike BS. The Mint seems intent on shipping the majority of the mintage in only a couple of days. I believe they are purposely trying to depress the resell market.

I stand corrected. Fer sum strange reason I was confusing them with the 20th anniv SAEs. If they still ship these after 30 days it will matter for FS.

No it wont because if they are shipped after 30 days, they WILL NOT be eligible for 1st strike no matter what, period end exclamation mark.
