Guess the grade! 1846-D/D Half Eagle - GRADE REVEALED

I'm thinking of resubmitting this for an upgrade and was wondering what the experts on this board think it might grade at NGC and PCGS
thanks Scroll down for grade!

NGC has given this an AU-50 grade.
For some reason they missed the attribution of the D/D (perhaps they don't attribute that variety). Compared to other half eagles I have seen, I think that this should have garnered a 53-55 grade. Perhaps the hit on Liberty's neck held the grade back.
This coin has nice original surfaces, I wonder if the TPG's have come around and recognize the "market value" of these when assigning a "market grading" grade.

That's a lot of detail for a VF isn't it? Unless you are netting it for the surface quality?
