Specie or Specious?

I collect coin types which have been used as currency. Can someone tell me if the following gold coins were such or should rather be considered as bullion issues?

Iran - 1 pahlavi, 1324 AP (1945 or 1946)

Mexico - 2 pesos, 1945; 5 pesos, 1955

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The 1945 Mexican 2-pesos can be considered a bullion issue, basically, since it was restruck for many years. Just sold one tonight.

I don't remember offhand if that is the case with the 1955 5-pesos or not, nor do I remember about the Iranian pahlavi you mentioned.

1955 5 Pesos had the original mintage of only 48,000 pieces. However there were additional 55,240 pieces dated 1955 restruck in 1956, 20,000 in 1957, 231,202 in 1959. I am not sure if this date was re-used after that.
