Put a green one in plastic brick screwdown holder, put a $100 price tag on it, and set it in the window of a now-defunct card store for most of the 1990s. Voila - blue card.
I just remember seeing all those cards in showcases, exposed to direct sunlight. Someone actually did a pretty neat experiment on here a couple years back with fading out some 1970 Topps cards that were in PSA slabs. I'll see if I can dig it up - really neat thread.
