I never thought I'd see that day, but it appears that Roosy's in better dates/grades, especially with FB's, are finally starting to see some price appreciation. Long overdue in my opinion. The pops on some of these coins are very low!

Prices have been up & down for years. Is there a specific coin(s) you are noting as a indicator of this increase? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Well, not one date in particular, but it just seems that the prices in the PCGS retail guide are now finally beginning to reflect a distinction between those with lower pop's and those that are more common. A good example is the 1955-D MS66FB. There are only 128 at that grade, and only 42 more higher. The price was lounging around at only $70 for the longest time, now it's up to $130. There are several more examples, but as I said, it seems the higher end coins with FB are starting to trend upward. Hopefully this will continue. This has got to be one of the most undervalued series out there...lots of really nice looking coins too due to how many gems made their way into albums.

I'd be MORE than a bit careful about the values you are quoting....$130 for a 55D in PCGS MS66FB? That's CRAZY and personally, I think $70 is outrageous for that coin. If I had a stack of plain old white 55D's in MS66FB, I'd be happy to sell them all at $70 each!

Just checked TT and I see pairs of 55D MS66FB coins selling for $50 with juice! REAL value on a 55D MS66FB is probably $25-35.
