Is a roll of Morgans still a roll of Morgans even if slabbed?

Can one offer 20 slabbed Morgans as a roll, even though they are individually slabbed. Not an original roll, mind you, just an Ebay listing as a roll. To me, a roll merely represents 20 coins.

BTW, I have such a listing up and was questioned as to my wording.

how 'bout 'lot of 20 coins' or something like that. what benefit does it serve anyone by calling it a 'roll'?

  • Rolls come in two flavors: Original and made. As long as you do not try and call them an original roll then your fine calling them anything else you want. But why call 20 slabbed coins a roll? 20 slabbed coins is just that, not really a roll.

I appreciate the feedback. I consider the term roll to be a unit of measure. Should a roll then be a traditional paper sleeve as opposed to the rigid plastic holders?
