I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

They can sell gold. They can start exercising fiscal responsibility and impose it on Congress.
...And they can cause water to flow uphill.

Did my part. I helped them sell some gold. Fiscal responsibility? Good luck. We have now as a nation got used to selling our votes for give aways. It is mostly our fault.
Just wait, and you won't have to wait long. $17 silver is right around the corner, gold will find more resistance, but nothing is going to stop this snowball for all precious metals.
We're just starting into this ride. I'd like to think the smart money went long on silver a few years ago, gold will do very well also, but the best bet on ROI is silver. Anybody who sells now is either foolish or in need of cash for an emergency.
JMO, but I'm sitting back and enjoying it. Give it a couple more years, perhaps a lot less than that, it could get wild real fast. It's not a matter of if, but when.
We'll look back fondly at the time when you could pick up decent MS silver "widgets" for under $50 and think those were the good old days when one could afford to collect and complete a nice set.
