PEACE! This is the first day of the rest of your life.
It wasn't until a few weekends ago I remembered what I disliked about the way some dealers do business. One dealer I was trying to do some trading with laughed at what I had to offer, told me it was only worth bullion and that was all he was willing to give in trade was bullion value, he said he would even break it out of the slab and sell it raw, So I proceeded to take my 2007-W PCGS MS70 Platinum Eagle and walk on past.
Another dealer I was trying to make a deal with for a 1995-W Silver Eagle would never give me a price, all he would do was ask "What will you pay" it was in an ANACS holder at PR69, no way it should have graded any higher than 67 yet he would not even entertain anything less that PCGS 69 money. Needless to say if I’m going to pay PCGS money I’m going to get one in a PCGS holder. There were a few good dealers with reasonable goods, and I came out with a few nice items but I had to wonder, if they are going to go through all the trouble of traveling to a show and setting up why be rude and insulting to their customers.
Maybe the next show will be better, until then I’ll stick with ebay and a few on the BST.
