In 1985 the British Virgin Islands issued a series of 25 proof silver crowns they named The Treasure Coins of the Caribbean. You can see them at this link.
I don't have any silver ones. The only "cob" style coin I own is copper, and Spanish, rather than Spanish Colonial. But it has a colonial past.
And it's got a pirate tie-in.
Sorry for the reposting, but this is probably my #1 sentimental coin. It (and the newspaper clipping) were a conversation starter at work one day, and that conversation was my first with the lady who later became my wife. Even if it weren't for that, this would still be very, very high on my sentimental favorites list, since it is my oldest personally-dug coin to date, and I value my dug coins much more sentimentally than I do my bought coins.
