Auction for 1952 Bowman Stan Musial PSA 9
So I email CardboardClassicsLLC asking him if he would accept $2000.00 for the card. His response:
"It would take $2,750 to end the auction early. Thanks for your interest." Wow! An $800.00 profit in the span of two weeks (Auction ends 9.24.07). Now that would be a nice return on an investment. It's currently up to $1225.00. Do you think his BIN price is reasonable? I wish him all the luck.

you didnt think he would actually accept it did you /
Buy stuff cheap on ebay and have them sit in a store for months gathering dust with price tags that are 5-10 times what you paid for them, or open your own auction page doing the same thing but starting the bids at twice what you paid....
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
I don't get it on individual cards unless you've got some kind of clear edge. With Mastro or Memory Lane, you might have an advantage if you're on the west coast, vs bidders giving up and falling asleep on the east coast.
Its a nice Musial, I do give him that.

<< <i>It'll never cease to amaze me that people list such high dollar cards and don't include a back scan. Don't you think it's worth the extra 15 cents? >>
If you self host your images you can have them as large as you want and don't pay any additional fee. I would never use eBay hosting.
I've been doing what this seller does for years but mainly on modern cheap stuff; buying certain cards (often from relatively new sellers) and listing them later for a profit. A solid reputation, quality images, proper description, and in some instances a fair return policy all serve to help a potential buyer pull the trigger.

Not including time, effort and fees, he came out $228.00 behind. Oh well, I'm sure another PSA 9 will surface sooner or later.
