Less lighting, more image detail?

I'm always surprised at how certain coins image. This one had a high obverse relief and I wasn't pleased with my initial result, over lit and didn't show enough detail.

With only half the light and carefully positioned the details jumped out.

PS: can someone help me with a proper eBay link in my signature, apparently I've forgotten how..?

Nice image.

If you want to add a "banner"-type image to your signature, you can do it via your profile, using

<< [img] Your Picture Link [/img ] >>
[ L=ebay link name ]http://www. ebay address [/L]

I think the above is corect, but haven't tried recently.

Hit "Quote" on this post, change "Linky" to whatever you want it to read, copy everything in the brackets (minus the [ q ]) then go paste it into your sigline. There is a limit on how many characters you can have in the sigline, though, so check to make sure nothing gets cut off after updating it.

Laurent - nice image. Great way to show depth is by using shadows. As for your eBay link - an easy way would be to reply to this message and click on the http link button to get the "code". Once you see this code in the message, just copy/paste it into your signature.

Low light and repositioning helps to bring out the contrast between the details and the fields. I think... I defer to our local expert in coin photography.

Ok Laurentyvan got it working post this into your customer browser signature:

but delete the 3 *** at the begining or it won't work.

You can also change the title to something else if you want.
