My 2nd Dodger game

Got tix from the Boss for a Dodger Game. Boss and outside of the envelope said 9/15 Sat vs. D-backs 7:10
Woo Hoo Season tix about 5 rows back pretty close to 3rd base as you can get.
Plan is Dodgers Sat and LA zoo on Sun.
Go to the game on Sat and the gates are locked ??? Im not that early. Go to another gate and Security finally comes out and says the game was moved up to earlier in the day and is already played. Uh ok. Said to come back Sun after 11:00 to re-use tickets. I return to original gate and spend the next 30-45 minutes telling cars, some of whom take me for a Dodger employee and tell them the bad news since there was no Dodger spokesperson tellling them or even a sign on the gate. I must of told over 200 cars.
Return Sun. My parking pass is for Fri. Oh, I guess my boss gave me the wrong one. Ok heres $15. I proceed to get my new tickets. They tell me I will have to accept these $28 tickets. What, my tickets are for $100 each and I get $28 tickets? Not even a free Dodger pen or even a Im sorry. Very stern they were. I argue and am told to go see the higher ups. I comply. I argue and they offer the same until they tell me "Uh, these tickets were for Fridays game". I almost cried with my face red with embarrasement. Ok heres my $84.
All in all the Dodgers lossed, my youngest threw a fit thru 2 innings, had to bypass the Zoo since our schedule got pushed back and Im $400 poorer.
But hey, it could of been worse. Lesson learned. Read the tickets. lol

Don't feel too bad, I started last season getting the dates wrong on a Yankees spring training game in Tampa, and ended it getting the date wrong on a Diamondbacks game in Phoenix- and I was holding 5 prime tickets. Total cost of both games? $340.
I read the tickets now too, and check online.

Sorry to hear about your little fiasco. Don't know if you're a basketball fan, but when the season comes around, I'll see which games I have available (I share season tickets with my parents) and I'll give you a set (I have four for the Clippers- hey, don't laugh!). They are center court, about 15 rows up from the floor. I usually have a pair or two that don't get used.
