Goldberg's Millennia collection

Did anybody receive the auction pre-catalogue for the May 2008 "Millennia Collection" auction from Ira & Larry Goldberg? It is a glossy 10 page preview for the auction next year, and it was included with the most recent Sept auction catalogue. I flipped through the pages in disbelief at some of the coins featured in this auction. I highly recommend that you take a look when they post it on their website in the future.

I was going to mention this one, as well. There are such jaw-droppers there! That 1823 silver proof 8 Reales pattern from Mexico City is gorgeous...

I have been fearing this sale for the past year. It will be painful.

Wow, would like to be there and witness the carnage (as opposed to being part of it as in previous years)!

I've seen tons of pre-Vic classics, etc., but is there a big lineup of Victorian material in mostly silver and gold.......Una, I don't need, nor do I care to lay down $50k+ for a type coin!!! image

Nope, all I know about were the coins featured in the glossy brochure. I'll have to ask around to see if the collection has other Vic. type coins. There's no shortage of the rare stuff. image
