I am missing 3 cards for a complete set of the NBA's 50 greatest players. I am missing Mchale, Barkley, and Maravich. I've seen a few PSA/DNA examples on ebay, but keep hoping he would have a certified example come out. At this point, I just want to complete the set with anything I can get my hands on!

Kevin McHale signed some postcards back in 1993 for the Make-A-Wish foundation. I bought some of the cards, you had to buy the cards, then send them in to get signed. It cost $5 for the cards and a minimum donation of $5 more for the auto.

I looked just now and I have 4 of the cards left but none are signed. I was thinking about sending them to McHale c/o the Timberwolves with a donation to make a wish, not sure if he would sign them that way or not.

They're too big for a tall boy holder but might fit in a supersize holder.

Please keep me updated on how that goes. According to Sportscollectors.net, out of ten requests since 1999, he has signed one!

I have a media guide from 91-92 signed "Don't eat my pizza, Kevin McHale"

The Celtics were having a Charity event, I talked my way in at the door (didn't have tickets), everyone there was wearing dress shirts and ties, me and my buddy were in jeans and t-shirts. I grabbbed the guy running the charity and let him know that his helper wouldn't let us in, although we were looking to bid on many of the game worn jerseys that we be auctioned off. We were let in, and seated at a VIP table. About 1/2 hour into it, we had ordered a pizza and a pitcher, a couple mintes later the waitress comes over an asks if we mind if Kevin and his wife sit with us. Our answer was sure, they can join us.

Kev is just staring at our pizza and pitcher, we told him, take whatever you want, don't wait for the waitress. She comes back seeing that the pizza was going quick and Kev ordered a couple more of both. Long story short, I won the Parish gamer that nite and after everything was over Kev asked if we wanted any autos, I am not really big on asking for signed stuff, so he grabs one of the free media guides that were at each table and signed it "Don't eat my pizza, Kevin McHale". The only two autos I would never sell are this one and my Bobby Orr 8x10 which came straight from Bobby when I was 6 in 1973.

Kevin was a great down to eath guy that night, I think he felt more at home with us in jeans etc. than the stuffed shirts that sat there all nite drooling all over themselves wondering how we got hooked up. Needless to say it was a great nite.

I may be willing to part with this McHale as I just picked up another one. I have not sent this one in to PSA/DNA for authentication yet, but it looks as good as any of the certified signatures I have seen. Let me know if you are interested.

I haven't seen any of these for sale or as redemptions. Chronology has been out for some time now, I imagine if they were released some would have hit ebay by now.

I don't have any good scans of the new one since I have yet to receive it in the mail. Once I get it in my hands I will have a better idea if it is %100 legit.
