Anyone bid on the most recent Memory Lane auction? Picture of item I won.

I had bids in on about 20 or so items trying to find a bargain. I only got one winner, but it's a nice one. I got this for less than SMR (even after the buyers fee).

Gorgeous card. Congratulations. I waffled on both the complete 1962T & 1967T sets. Ultimately didn't bid because of lack of information - they went for low prices too.

Sweet card Weekend!!! Is that for a set? I wanted the graded 1955 wax pack to go with my set, but I forgot all about it.
  • I bid on several items, but was outbid on all of them. I checked the prices just before the closing bell, and all of it (including juice) was higher than I thought was reasonable for the cards.

How much did the Gehrig PSA 10 go for?

I got these 2 aarons and a couple of other mixed lots. the sets were to risky. I alked them about the #1,2 and 80 in the 59 fleer set and they came back that they would grade about 5's. How does that relate to the description of the raw cards are all pack fresh nm to mint cards. I bailed at that point.

Also, wanted some of the wrappers but they went way to high even though I bid aggressive on a coule I really wanted.

I thought this card looked real nice for a 7 , we'll see when it arrives.

this was fairly a bargain , the only one I could find when I was looking for things at good prices

Sell may be a strong word. Are you sure it sold? Or did it simply not meet the hidden reserve?
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

  • mike, the gehrig sold!

its curious how some lots were removed before ending...maybe seller remorse?

The Mack was removed due to pressure from posters on Net 54- it was not what it was originally represented to be.

Did you buy the Gehrig? If not, how do you know it actually changed hands in a sale?

  • Packcollector,
I think you did a wise thing on the wrapper front. I reviewed the prices and they seem more than a bit out of whack. Those Playball high numbers or not that hard. I have had a dozen or so in hand at one time a few years ago and had to be patient at $400. At those prices, I might dig some out of the closet. In fact most of the high priced items are not as hard as these prices reflect except for the Schutter-Johnson. I turned down a $2500 offer on that one a few years back. The Playballs are much harder than the price refelcts having been over $1000 for both the 40 and the 41's for years. The Tattoo Orbit is incredibly rare and was great bargain.
Fortunately for some I forgot about this one or some of those bargains would be coming to my house instead.
