How accurate is Shaderise's grading?

Has anyone bought anything raw from him before?

Yes. I bought once from him...a fairly high value card...sent it to PSA and it came back trimmed. From what i've heard he grades everything worth grading and sells the rest raw. I would recommend just buy the card graded.

Thanks for the advice!! I noticed that he also sells graded, so I immediately became suspicous. He has a nice Sayers rc, which looked too good to be true.

I am always suspicious of any dealer selling raw and graded. Some are obvious, triple s normally sells their off center mint cards raw. The ones that try and pawn off their culls as being mint or NM/MT are the ones I never buy raw or graded from if I can help it. Too shady for me.

He has been on here before, so perhaps he'd like to come on and enlighten us all.

I seem to remember a few years ago he was selling more raw stuff than graded, but now that has changed dramatically. Thus, I'd be wary about buying anything raw from him.

yeah. you'd think one could get away with purchasing a cheap, mid-grade card to supplement a set, but perhaps i should be buying Christmas ornaments instead. image
