Dont you just love NNC grading?1806 CBH Ms-63

I know it's a fairly rare coin in higher grades,but this thing has some mojor looking scratches.Someone is willing to pay high $'s for problem coins.link

If the coin was in a major TPG holder I think it would be less of a risk.
I don't like the retone much.
However, look at the reverse and the sharpness of the central detail. You don't see that very often. I have no problem with it as a 63 except that it almost certainly would be in a better holder if it hadn't been worked on rather extensively.

The scratches are unfortunate, as is the stinky no-name slab (which could be remedied with a quick crackout), but I do like the coin. Sure, the toning is almost certainly secondary toning from an old album, but I find it attractive.
Nice coin, nasty plastic. Laughable label grade.

You're correct, it's the seller that's wrong - it's a Draped Bust Half.
