"Original Oxidation 1841 O Seated Half" offered by Jonathan Kern

In the September 24th Coin World edition ( pg 59), Mr Kern offers a 1841O seated half in" near mint state, usual sloppy strike, uncleaned andt hat includes this as part of the description. I have never heard of such a thing as original oxidation, but he has a BA in Numismatics.

If raw, it might mean that the original oxygen is still intact inside the envelope/flip.
