Just an observation on a lazy Saturday

I was just looking through 1969-1979 mint sets with a 10X just in case I missed something the last 10 times I looked at them. I was wondering did you ever notice how absolutely ugly these mints set are compared to prior sets and mint sets after the 70's. I am not sure why this is, but as crappy as the 70's were I guess little else can be expected.
