strictlymint.com - now This is a Good Ebay Seller

Recently won a $6 raw card from Mike Carville - strictlymint.com. Got card today and it had a surface crease. Too much of a hassle to return a $6 card, so I emailed him just to let him know he erred on the grade (advertised as NM+), but that I would just keep it. Shortly thereafter, I get notice that he has refunded my paypal payment. I did not expect or ask for that. He just did it as the right thing to do. It is refreshing to know that there are still ebay sellers out there who take of their customers. Unfortunately, it is pretty rare these days.

    Wow Kurt

Thanx for the story - with all the negative stuff about sellers - this is nice.

And, IMO, there's way more good ones than bad.

It's just the bad get the press.

Think about it - how often does someone come on to say - I bought ABC from Mr XYZ and it went just fine?

    Thanx for sharing

  • Thats human nature to talk about negative. One basic rule of thumb if you upset one customer they tell 13 people. If you please one customer they tell no one.

I bought from strictlymint before and the cards were better than expected. Maybe my expectations were low but I was really happy with what they sent!

  • It's a great place to do business with. I have his site bookmarked in my favorites and his help and great deals have helped me put together my complete run of Topps sets from 1980 onward. He's also going to help me complete my semi-master 2007 Topps set. Simply a pleasure to do business with.
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.
  • I have been dealing with Mike for about 8 years now.

    Great seller AND buyer
