What is it?

Found this in a small bulk lot I recently aqcuired. Pretty worn, but anyone have any idea what it may be? Sorry if the pics are upside down, I really have no idea which way is up on these.

Looks like Indian state dump coinage.
I recommend trying the Yahoo group 'South Asia Coin Group' or their web site: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/southasia-coins.

Looks like a coin from Nepal. Both the sides are upside down though and the legends are so worn out (atleast for my eyes!) that it cannot be attributed to date and ruler.

Koincollect: That is exactly what it appears to be. I've fixed the pics so they are right side up now (I think). My eyes will probably not be able to attribute this either. At least now I know where this is from!..

Yep, a Nepal copper paisa (1865-80). I was in a hurry last night.
