If it were my boat I'd take her for a spin just before hauling out. So, let's say Monday (marina will be slowest) afternoon at about 2:44. That would be Monday the 8th. Thanks, hope the season was a fun one! bob

Outhaul... why are you not sailing in the Annapolis race week? OR ARE you... I should have placed a bet on when you were going to haul it out... Cause It wouldnt surprise me if its on the 30th, or 31st after the regatta......
Ahhh... well we will be up there... kinda hard NOT to go when you own the Quantum Sail loft... something like a local requirement... lol. Both of us (Jim and myself) should be up there in the J-105 class.
The problem is obvious however... there isnt a "Q" in the corner of it.
Glad to hear they are making it right with you though. We have only ever had a problem come up once, we speficially altered the boat dementions in the system to accomidate a customers requiest for a sail. The designer, failed to read the special notes about that being on purpose, and reset the rig dimentions, therefor, resetting our measurements. The sail came back, and was WAY to short... so we tore apart the entire leach of the sail, and rebuilt the enitre thing to make it correct, then billed the franchise back for their mistakes.
Very glad to hear they are making it right... and I also wonder whos eating it in that line of personnel... because that hurts...
The bottom line however is not that they made a mistake... but that they are making it right for you... are you going to get a chance to fly it before you haul it out? If not... are they going to stand by it come launch next year?

No time. I have to work to support my sailing habit...
How do you like the lousy shape of the new sail?
They're building me a new one, they can't figure out what went wrong with this one.
A very nice CirCam LI commem...
