Wheatie @ the bottom of my purse...

With the pocket change find... I dumped my small accumulation of change that takes about 6 months to get a large handful (using plastic all the time)... and found a 1947-D wheat cent (yay)... not the prettiest condition on the obverse, but I noticed a bit of color under all the grime on the reverse - so I dropped it in acetone.... looks much nicer now!
Three different lighting angles:

Just too bad the condition of the obverse wasn't as good as the reverse!

Not a wheatie but the only copper U. S. Mint piece I own, at this point.

<< <i>Let me know if you ever find a draped bust, capped bust, or seated coin ...when you get to the bottom of it (the bottom of that pile you dumped outta your purse
LOL.... my "purse" is little more than a wallet-on-a-string.... and usually the only interesting find has been a random bicentennial quarter!!
