Question about initial submission

I recently sent in my first submission with the Collector's Club voucher. It says it has a seven business day turnaround, but reading these boards I'm noticing many complaints about the long waits. Today was the 7th day, and I've heard nothing. Should I expect to wait a couple of months for these, or are the pretty good with the first time orders?

The complaints you are reading about in the countless threads that the members here continually start, are almost always about the collector's club monthly special which has an approximate 45 day turnaround (not guaranteed).

As for your 7 day turnaround special, PSA does not count weekends, holidays, or days that they attend major card shows in that 7 day timeframe. I'm sure you will receive an email very soon stating that your grades are posted since you were on one of their shorter waiting submission plans.

Just to be clear, it was Friday when I posted, and it was the 7th business day. I'm glad to hear I should be done soon...can't imagine what waiting another 50 days would be like, but it sounds like I'll find out soon enough!

Most of us here submit cards, not initials but good luck and thanks for asking!

Good luck, and also don't be too disappointed if the grades aren't what you expected. Most of us are unpleasantly surprised the first time. Sometimes it gets better with experience.

actually the day the package is recieved it irrelevant, the day after the date "logged in" on your submission status is #1

That is what I was actually meaning. The day it is logged in does not count so if you are not counting that Day 7 is Monday.
