I had the misfortune to win (and then forget about until I realized the shocking truth much later). Luckily, it cost me less than melt when gold was still cheap. I knew it was too good to be true.

Here's the fake. Notice that BP is missing and that the strike is cruddy. Also note how poor the finish is (I had to reduce brightness just to see the blamed thing).


And here's a genuine one (I hope).

LOL...if you collect long enough, you're going to get a few of these. I personally have purchased two higher dollar lightside coins that were later identified as fakes. I look at them now and again when I feel a need to cry.
