Pics from my new Camera-need advice

Sony Cyber Shot 8.1 Mega Pixels. This is shot from hand with normal room light and stock lens. Im going to set up a photo stand for coins, any suggestion on lighting and a lens for shooting coins?

Look in your manual at White Balance and try another setting. If you're shooting in fluorescant lights, set the WB to fluorescant. Or even better try a custom white balance.
Or desaturate it a little to make it silver.
Otherwise, .........awesome.
