They're all German States coins. Can't help with values, as I am separated from Krause at the moment.

    The states are:

    1- Prussia (1/3 thaler)
    2- Saxony (2/3 thaler)
    3- Brunswick-Luneberg (24 mariengroschen = 2/3 thaler)
    4- Prussia (3 pfennig)

I like that Brunswick-Luneberg piece. Were I to guess, it would probably be the pick of the litter. The last, the Prussian 3-pfennig with "issues", is likely to be worth less than a buck as-is, unless it is a better date/mint.

  • I assumed #3 was Bruns-Lune, but couldn't find it there.....I believe its actually Brunswick Wolfenbuttel 24 MarienGroschen KM615 $30 VG $65 F
    $115 Vf
  • 1) KM#380, 1802 A (Berlin) German States-Prussia, 1/3 Thaler, 8.3520 g, 0.6660 Silver, F cond=$20.00 American
    2) C#117, 1768 EDC (mint master Ernst Dietrich Croll,) German States-Saxony, 2/3 Thaler, F cond.=$30.00
    3) I believe it is a variety of KM#615, 1695 HCH, Brunswick mint-mintmaster Heinrich Christoph Hille, German State-Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, 24 MarienGroschen (2/3 Thaler) Diameter: approx. 36 mm, Weight: approx. 17 gram, VF=$115.00,
My reasoning is that I cannot find the mint masters initials, HCH, in any other German State. I have seen a ref. # of Dav332, but do not have that reference.
    4) KM#482, 1872 B (Breslau) German State-Prussia, 3 Pfennig, Copper, F=$5.00, VF=$10.00

    I particularly like the 1695 HCH, Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, 24 MarienGroschen (2/3 Thaler.)
Please let me know if you are thinking of selling it.
    Thank you,
    Jim

Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, eh? Well, I suppose I can be forgiven for saying Brunswick-Luneberg, since it says ".BRUNS.LUNEB." right on there.

I too would be among the bidders if that coin goes for sale.
