Not a sexy coin but would be nice if this Susan B is a wide rim. Please help.

It has been awhile since I have posted as the little woman put a big shoe across my head for spending some much time and money on my coins. Went to the bank today to look for Kennedy halfs. Teller did not have any but she did have a roll of Susan B's and a roll of sac's found this Susan B and need help as to determining if it is a wide rim.

    I'd say the first is a wide rim.

    I also got a couple at the bank a few weeks back.

    i have seen some w/ wide rim by date only, that's what i think you have

    just checked one i have...i think it is a wide rim!

    This also confused me when I was new to varieties. Although it does have a wide rim at the bottom, it does not have a "near date" (closer to the rim) that is the actual variety.

    i am looking at mine again and that could be (what I have quoted you) my ONE is less than it's width as close to the rim and both of these shown are furthur away, although one is closer.

    i am not familiar with what attrubutes are neccessary though.
