Who grades world coins for PCGS?

Seriously. I don't know who grades world coins for PCGS. I'd also like to know how many graders see each coin.

I've heard Karl handles some of the more esoteric or infrequently encountered coins. Otherwise, I've no clue.

If you click on the 'experts' on the PCGS home page, only Ron Guth is listed for World Coins.

    Does Karl grade on premises?

    Anyone else?

In all seriousness... I have read that Karl grades for PCGS but there is likely some others... I have no idea who they are

I don't believe so. In one case, it was my understanding that they had sent some Swiss specimen coins out to him or had him take a look at a show to verify that the coins were in fact, specimen strikings. These were both pre-WWI cu-ni coins. Whether he assigned the number grade or not, I have no idea. This occurance was in early 2004.

Karl may do some specialty items, but I don't think he is a regular grader for them. I have often wondered if Sandy Campbell does Canadian for them, but he also submits many coins to PCGS, so I think that leaves him out.
