No telling if the surfaces are original from that photo, and no telling what the reverse looks like since he didn't bother to show a photo of it. As for the detail, the coin looks to have solid VF-35 detail.

I once bought what looked like a nice VF to XF 1859 on ebay that had no photo of the reverse. When I received the coin, the obverse was solid for the grade, but the reverse had nicks carved into the rim about every 10 degrees. Something the seller failed to metion.

Looks like XF-AU detail. I think you did good unless there is a hidden problem but heck for $33 it would have to be one major problem not to be a good deal.
