Are the Orioles that bad?

After the 18 run beat down by the Angels tonight, one wonders how bad have the Orioles become. they have something like 1 win in there last 20 games, mainly at home. Holy COW. I guess it all started when the Rangers scored 30 runs in 4 innings. I've thought the Orioles were fairly good hitting team, but with a handful of pitchers on the DL, there pitching COMPLETELY SUCKS!

    they have two or three decent players and one rising star (Markakis) and one good pitcher (currently on the DL) at this point; i'd take Tampa Bay's talent over Baltimore image

    i'm an orioles fan, and i should be in a 12 step program just for saying that, but yes they are that bad and i agree i would take 3 maybe 4 players from the o's and go with tampa bay talent and talent ceiling.

    it very hard to be an oriole fan nowadays!!!!

    The Orioles are like my Phillies on bad days, but the Orioles seem to be able to be bad every day.

    Last night the O's played there "B" team and shut out my Halos 3 - ZIP.

    Hopefully its a wake up call for Mora, Patterson, Roberts, Hernandez and Tejada who all didn't play

    they should play the player that want to play and obvisouly tejada/mora/Hernandez does not...
    how many errors do they have to have to show some shame. they play lazy and uninterested when their in there, patterson and roberts are hurt and sick repectfully, they usually play hard when their in there.

    I think the Orioles are not that bad - they may be the 30th best team in the world, or thereabouts.

    Their problem is they play most of their schedule against teams as good or better than they are. Certainly having to play the Red Sox and Yankees 18-19 times each is no party. Mathematically, their record is not that much worse than the teams ahead of them (compared to say the NFL, where first place might be 14-2, and last place 2-14, for example).

    I think they have some management problems over there, and some major adjustments are needed upstairs to make them more competitive. Or perhaps they need to get out of the AL east.

    If the O's played in the NL Central they might be a .500 team image
