Someone purchased my item and has now stolen my auction to resell it.

I have an item (ok, not card related) that I recently sold someone on ebay and now he is reselling it with MY description (the FONT is even the same) and MY photo. Is there any way I can prevent him from doing this and end his auction??

You can report him to Ebay they will remove the listing may take them time though.
<< <i>Why does this bother you? He won the item and paid for it. Is it hurting you somehow? Perhaps he doesn't have a scanner, so he just used you pic. Please fill me in because I'm not understanding why that would bother you. >>
Probably the same reason its bothering you that its bothering him.

Ebay WILL pull listings for this sometimes you have to jump through hoops to get them to do anything but they will pull listings. I prefer sening bills to the photo thieves.
I have had something similar happen to me and it bothers the cr@#$p out of me. There is a dealer in the Non Sports Realm who on numerous occasions has Copied and Pasted the description of something I am selling to use in their listings. This bothers me on several levels.
First: They obviously wait till I am selling something that they have an identical or similar item to list theirs. This is to me stupid on their part as it hurts the sale on both our items.
Secondly: They sometimes get their info wrong when they steal my description and use it, they are not completely correct in their description (And believe it or not: I can't just let it go and have E-Mailed them to point out their mistake so they could correct it in their listing !!!!)
Third: Sometimes I have to do some Research to figure out what I have and then do some Creative writing to make my listing at least sound interesting. So in essence I am making their job easier for them and I have to do all the leg work.
And I could go on but I think the above would be enough.
So in closing I wish they would do their own Fu*%$ing work and leave my listing info alone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for letting me Vent.......................

I used SOME text from a previous A&G Mule Miles auto to make my auction body. It sold and I was paid but I get an Alert today saying that the auction was cancelled and the buyer was under no obligation to complete the transaction.

THAT is freakin hilarious.
Thousands of scammers operating on ebay 24/7 without any kind of hinderance from ebay, but yet a "Description theft Policy"
enforced by the DCP squad of ebay henchmen. Unreal

I wish I had your problems!!!
Or, I might ask what the problem is and forget about it. Pick one of the two options.
Rube did this last year

Agreed. Ebay is getting more pathetic every year.
<< <i>If the picture is currently being hosted on a website you control--you can change the picture to something very crazy/interesting/not related to the item and mess up his auction. If he copy/pasted and controls the picture himself now, I'm not sure what else you can do. >>
I would love for that to happen to me. Though I never check similar items for sale once I sold mine. But it would be fun. I can see it now.
