Steve Hart has some for sale. I always thought the first year for Topps was 1952.

    Regular issue are red backs and blue backs, red being a bit more common.
    first year for Topps was technically '48, but for the most part it's considered the '51 sets.

    Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
