Thanks for the responses. Yes, I have done this before. I'm paying them off ($1500/month for 5 1/2 years @7.25% interest) and joined Debtors Anonymous. I have not purchased a coin since 4/27/07 and now consider such purchases "addictive." I can add DA to my bag of 12-step groups (GA, SA, SAA, SLAA, SIA, ACOA) that I have attended since 1994-the year I got "sober." I was diagnosed bipolar in 1995. At least I finally admit I have a problem (step 1). I'm 46 years old...too little, too late?

Well, at least I have SOMETHING to show for my binge. Years ago I would have gambled that money away at a casino. Now I "gambled" again on coins. Definitely a big "SLIP!" At least I wasn't ripped off like I was 2 years ago. I actually have all those coins (no foolin').

Who knows, maybe this experience might prevent someone on the boards from buying like this.
