Haven't heard any media outlets talk about this play....I guess when you are a school that plays by special rules to get you a bowl bid every year the media won't ever criticize you?
<< <i>Interesting video clip I found from the ND/PSU game, of two ND players on top of a PSU player pummeling and pushing him (and the PSU kid had no helmet)...long after the play's over. Good thing that ND recruits such upstanding citizens and 'does things the right way'!

That was Travis Thomas who did that, and yes it was very stupid. Travis Thomas has been somewhat of a problem but to say Notre Dame does not recruit upstanding citizens is crazy. 100% graduation rate. It sounds like someone is jealous of Notre Dame.
Also during the Michigan game, late in the game, a UM receiver actually kicked a defender while they were on the ground. No flags, nothing.
I think ESPN should do a top10, if applicable, of classless plays each week.
As far as the game goes, GO NOTRE DAME!!!!!
As a Buckeye Fan I hate Michigan!

(a) there were two players in that scrum from ND, and (b) 100% graduation rate? wrong! It's quite high I'll give you that, but 100%? Try again. Jealous of a program that hasn't won a bowl game since 95? Uhm if you say so bub!

<< <i>Big winner will be whoever takes over as Head Coach of Michigan on Tuesday after the firing if the Wolverines lose. >>
Les Miles of LSU who is a Michigan alum and worked with Bo is apparently a leading candidate but he deflects all questions about it which is the right thing to do at this time.
He apparently has an escape clause in his contract letting him go to Michigan if the situation ever came up and he has to pay back LSU
$1.25 million in the process.
Win or lose against ND I think Lloyd Carr's fate is sealed in Ann Arbor and it is only a matter of time before they let him go.
Lloyd is still gone in the end. As I've said, I like the guy but they need a coach with plays from this century to compete in todays game. It's pretty bad when Bo (3 yards and a cloud of dust) had a more "wide open" playbook than Lloyd.
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
As far as the LSU coach goes, he has a buyout clause in his contract that makes him pay $1.5 million if he leaves to go coach UM, 500k if it's somewhere other than UM. But why would he want to leave LSU, a school that's perennially a powerhouse?

And how has your program performed, hmm? Don't try saying USC because we all know you didn't go there for college, you're just another bandwagon rider.
And before you attempt to spin it as usual, I went to THE University of Texas.
Have a wonderful day
<< <i>Carr will finish this year no matter what happens...no way they disrespect him and fire him midyear.

Money for one thing but there can be also be sentimental factors that can influence a decision as to whether to stay or not.
Bo faced this with the Wolverines many years ago when it was the University of Texas I believe offering him a ton of money to
be their head football coach, he thought it over and finally said to his wife "I can't do it, I just can't leave Michigan, the only reason
would be for the money and that is not good enough".
Maybe we are finding out Charlie Weis isn't the genius everyone has been so quick to call him.
If Notre Dame doesn't win this one, 0-8 start is not out of the question.
