Q on German Inscription

"IOHANN V. G. G. KOENIG VON SACHSEN

"Von Gott Ge-something," being a Teutonic "Dei Gratia," I'm guessing. Can anyone fill out the abbreviation exactly? Thanks for the help. Seems odd to use a Latinized version of his name, Johann, when everything else on the 1873 20 mark coin is in German...

  • Thanks. I appreciate your answer. Working from it, on this 'internet' thing, I think that, unlike 'Dei Gratia,'
    v. G. G. is actually part of the title of whichever monarch.
