Great New Website For Collectors!

You must check out this new site. This is for all colletors who buy at auction. The site is auctionblip. Go to www.auctionblip.com to read all the details. This is so simple easy and such a great idea. All you need to do is register, put in 10 items you are looking for or must have from your wishlist, and auctionblip will send you out emails every time it finds your items at auction with anyone in their network(very impressive network of the biggest auctions). The emails are great!! You see who is selling it, auction date, lot #, pictures, discription and a link to the auctions website. There moto is" never miss an item at auction again" If this is the case, this would be a great site for collectors that would make the small fee for the year for this service really well worth every penny!! Well done, this is what the internet was meant to be............

Actually the internet was meant to be "free information sharing" according to its private conception in the 1980s. Bump.

Between Vintage Card Prices (they send e-mails from your want list even if you don't subscribe) and eBay's e-mails, there is very little that I would miss. Certainly not enough to justify the $99 "small fee." Nice spam though!!!!
No such details will spoil my plans...
  • I ALWAYS catch my items about 12 hours before the ebay emails, I am just that good
  • If we pay two small fees, will notification be twice as fast. I think I want at least two.

I don't go to websites that have to have losers spam for them. They should be honest and up front like VCP was, come here and say what they're selling and why we need it.

    Spam just doesn't belong here.

They were quite nice when they visited my store. They drank all my beer though.

Out of sheer comic curiosity I clicked on that link, and had a hearty good laugh.

The whole concept is absurd, and made even more ridiculous by their arrogance to think that anyone would pay $99 per year for emails.

I predict that I'll be able to grab this URL at about this time next year after they decide not to renew it.
  • It does seems to lack substance to the product I would agree. Why would someone pay for a service they can already get for free and they are missing the largest auction house eBay. Plus another thing I do not get is you only get to submit 10 things on your want list. At VCP it is limitless and free to all who want to access it. And for the same price you pay them you get all the values and so much more. I can't complain about this type of competition....
  • Bye, Rudi. Now it's time to go back to your jammy party.
