I won one of the cards that was well centered for a good price from the Mastro Auction. I just started this set and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy
I got the initial 40% or so of my set from a guy that was selling his complete set and building a '14 set. And I met a good % of the other guys building sets on the PSA registry, and as any of us would upgrade we'd offer the cards to each other first. And a few of us bid on lots in Mastro together and split them amongst ourselves. Very few dealers that I know of have any CJ's for sale anymore, things really dried up a couple of years ago.
It's a great set though, and worth the time it takes to put it together. IMO 7's can be tougher to find than 8's often, due to factory sets and a few other issues. It's taken me 5 years to get 1 card away from the set, so patience is the key. Dan's set in Mastro should've gone for considerably more, and I doubt another high grade set like that will come up anytime soon.
Are you just going for '15's, or adding in the variations in the '14 set.
