You are all very fortunate. Yes, every one of you will get to enjoy listening to and watching on TV the greatest professional sports franchise in world history and that includes ancient Greece and Rome and even before then, yes of course it's the Philadelphia Eagles who will continue their remarkable traditions with advancing to and winning this season's Super Bowl. Yes, you'll all be able to tell your great grandchildren when they ask about the '07 Eagles that yes, even though you now have advanced Alzheimers and can't even remember your name, that you clearly remember that fantastic event, and you were fortunate enough to be around when it happened. So savor and enjoy this season's Philadelphia Eagles and you are all invited to come to our Super Bowl victory parade down Broad Street this February - the first round of drinks are on me.

    First they have to decide not to make brain-dead decisions to field hard-to-field punts in the last minute of a tie game. Until then they're the same old Iggles.

    Ancient Greece didn't have "professional sports franchises"...and neither does Philadelphia.

    I jinxed the Eagles with the Sports Talk Forum jinx. It has been proven time and time again that everyone here who roots hard for their team, then their team winds up losing. The harder they root, the worse it gets. The Eagles would not have lost to the Packers if it wasn't for my storybook post here. I sincerely apologize to all Eagles fans.
