Set Registry - PSA wait to get Registered Mail Sign Off Back

Does PSA wait to get a signature Registered Mail Slip back before they allow you to upload cards that you have received?

Thanks

When you send registered mail you don't get anything back, by default.

It would require a lot of energy and effort to look up every PSA shipment to make sure that it had been received on the other end, before allowing cards to end up in the registry. There are so few cards going into the registry that it wouldn't make any sense to worry about it, and there is no reason I can think of to do this, anyway.

So, my answer is no. I don't know for sure, but I don't know for sure that the earth is round, either.

    Dale,

They've been "upgrading" the computer systems lately. I would just email BJ with a couple of the cert numbers along with what card it is and ask why you can't load it into the registry. They can usually spot a problem and get it resolved pretty quickly. Frank

    Vargha,

How does PSA know if you really own the card? Say I bought one on Ebay like I have been trying to do to start my 76 set. Can you only register the graded cards you personally have graded? Or can you enter these cards that you bought somewhere else by entering their cert number?

    Thanks

Any valid certification number will work. Newly graded cards take a week or two to hit the system. There is no way to check who the owner is unless you are trying to add in a card that is already in the Registry.
