Help with identifying this Spanish coin/medallion?

Anyone know what this is? Need help identifying this coin.
Origin - found under 6 feet of dirt while digging in the provinces of the Philippines.
One side says: Senor Patriarca San Jose
Other side says: Un Puro Sagrado Y Verdadero Roma 1000

Looks like a religious medallion than a currency coin but interesting non the less.

  • I just went through the entire book of coins medals and tokens of the Philippines 1728 - 1974 and did not find it. I dont have any Spanish references for medals. I'm sure someone will find it.

Might be an arras token, although it looks a bit large for that. What's the diameter?
  • its 1.5 Inches in diameter..yes..could be an arras token..
