Faded Cards Worth Grading?

I recently came across a 1956 Red Schoendienst came. The card is in absolutely beautiful condition except for being slightly off-center and it is faded except for a small circular area near home plate. The corners are very sharp , the edges are clean and there are no creases, scuffs or any other detractions, I've attached a picture of the card. Is something in this condition still worth grading, or does the fading knock it down to a very low grade? I appreciate your help...

  • it doesn't look faded to me. looks like it may be a 6 grade and those normally go for $7 or so

Welcome to the boards. The Schoendienst card doesn't look like it would be worth grading. With the centering and fading (and the corners aren't as sharp as ideal), the card would probably get a 4 at best. So not worth sending to PSA, but nice to have anyways.

Welcome and hope you stay around - the boards can be very helpful!

    Welcome to the boards!!

Here is a PSA 7, but IMO is a generous 7 for a BIN on Ebay.
