my boy and I ripped a box of SAGE HIT and have 6 autos.

are these able to be submitted under the 5.00 tier? What about Jersey cards?

Lets read the special and then answer these questions and reread the special. See end of post for special info copied from PSA site.

For Auto's?
1. Are the auto cards football?
2. Valued at under $75?
3. Issued in the 1998 or after and not signed after market? ie must be issued in packs or redemptions. Cant be self obtained autos.

If any answer is NO than they dont qualify.

For Patch cards?
1. Are the patch cards football?
2. Valued at under $75?
3. Are the patch cards just a little thicker than normal cards?

If any answer is no then they dont qualify. However, PSA does seem to be putting more patch cards in the thicker holders. However, it they are like Topps Paradigm patches they will put them in a regular holder. I would call PSA and ask. None of us know for sure how they will handle the cards without knowing how "thick" they are. You could also try to PM carolj and ask her to find out what the specs are for the thickness. Before they always said about the thickness of 2-3 normal cards would fit in a regular holder.

Football Kickoff Special
$5 per card/10 card minimum - Cards valued under $75
Special is for football cards only. This special excludes Tallboys, Supersized Cards, Thicker Memorabilia/Patch Cards, T3's, Autographed Cards*, Coins & Pins.
The turnaround time varies with demand.
Here's what you need to do:

Fill out a submission form and write SET REGISTRY SPECIAL on the top of the form. Mark OTHER as the type of service. Click here to print out a form. (Note: You must be a Collectors Club member to take advantage of the Set Registry grading special. If you are not yet a member, click here to join.) Cards submitted for the Grading Special need to be written on a separate submission form.

Raw cards and crossovers must be submitted separately on separate submission forms with their own return shipping.

When you receive your cards back from PSA, enter them into the registry and submit your set for validation.

Your submission must be postmarked by October 31, 2007 so act now!

(*Autographed cards from the manufacturer from 1998 to present are allowed on this special. All other autographed cards must be submitted under the Autographed Card Grading and Authentication service.)

well it looks like the autos are ok to go in but the patch cards are questionable. I sent her a PM.

they are Sage patch cards which aren't as thick as Topps Heritage stuff.

"factory"autos after 98 can go via the special as well as jersey or patch cards as long as they are not too thick to fit in the standard slabs
