  • The '71 PSA 8's aren't too bad.

I guess the question is, what were you expecting to receive on each of these?? The PSA 5 is usually the wrinkle crease that apparently none of us ever see.

71s and anything black is terrible to grade, i never have any luck with black cards, i just buy em graded lol, and save my $!

Two or three of the 70's are 9-worthy, and none of them should have been 7's. I probably missed something egregious on the 5.

Another submission of mine popped today, and it was not much better. I'm not looking forward to the rest of these popping.

    Ron,

When you are recoloring the '71's, are you using black or navy? Because they will detect the navy everytime.

Sorry about the grades, I'm sure the 71's are sweet.

On the bright side, your next could be worse making this one not seem so bad.

    Hope I helped.

    Not a big surprise.

    Check this recent thread:

  • This is precisely why I took a looooooooooong hiatus. Financially, it makes no sense.

PSA does do a good job. Just good.

Why have a detailed grading scale if it is not strictly followed?

I understand an occasional error here and there. Human nature. But to continuously hammer for the sake of hammering?

I hope it's an ebb and flow type of thing.

There are many 10s out there masquerading as 9s.
