waxfromthepast.com?

Have any of you purchased wax from Wax from the Past? As a general rule, I buy my wax boxes from Steve Hart, but I was just researching prices and found this other site. I missed out on the 1983 Topps Michigan group rip, and they're running a great sale on 83 Topps wax. Anyone have an experience with this seller?

Thanks...

Thanks for the info, digi...sounds like it's worth spending $25 more per box to stick with who I trust.

Let's just say his stint as a GAI grader was something less than spectacular.

He used to have a large inventory of stuff at shows but his web site is very basic. Did he cash out?

    That was Mark Murphy.

GAI erroneously graded many 12-card grocery cellos as authentic, when in fact they were anything but. The only authentic 1972 Topps cellos are the cellos that contain 33 cards and came in a blue cardboard box.

I've never purchased any wax from Ryan Rutter, but he was always a friendly, knowledgeable dealer at the card shows when I did speak with him about the hobby.

He had some health problems a few years ago. I hope he's doing okay these days.

You also can't go wrong buying from Steve Hart as many on this board can attest. He's one of the hobby's best dealers in pretty much every product he sells on ebay or carries on his web site.

He had some very old vintage wax boxes from 1965 and 1968 as well as a unopened 1958? baseball wax box. Where did it all go? Yes he was knowledgable at shows and he did trade a bit.
