Starting a new collection: Birds on coins

I'm starting a very casual collection of birds on world coins. This collection will let me add the occasional cheap coin when my budget's blown on something pricier or what I want isn't available.
I'm an ornithologist by training (i.e., I study birds), so this is really a logical outgrowth of two of my main interests: birds and coins. I recently participated in a blind trade with ScottB on the NGC boards: I sent him a package of coins without telling him what they were or what I wanted in return. His job (fulfilled beautifully) was to send me back a package valued at what he thought my stuff was worth. I just gave him a few guidelines of what I was interested in to help him decide what to send me. We both had a blast on the trade - here's what I got from him to jumpstart my bird collection:
Commonwealth of the Philippines
Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) - See the real bird
Bald Eagles aren't even native to the Philippines, by the way

Ecuador 1 Sucre
Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus) - See the real bird
This is the largest flying landbird in the Western hemisphere.

Bermuda 25 cents
White-tailed Tropicbird (Phaethon lepturus) - See the real bird
This species is also called the "longtail" by the locals.

Mexico 2 pesos
Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) - See the real bird
Gold is always a wonderful surprise!

Mexico 20 centavos
Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) - See the real bird
Another depiction of the eagle eating the snake.

Canada 1 dollar
Common Loon (Gavia immer) - See the real bird
One of my favorite birds (also commonly called the Great Northern Diver)

Cayman Islands 1 cent
Grand Cayman Thrush(Aquila chrysaetos) - See the real bird
The Cayman Thrush is now extinct.

Trinidad and Tobago 1 cent
Obverse:
Left: Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber) - See the real bird
Right: Rufous-vented Chachalaca (Ortalis ruficauda) - See the real bird
Shield, above Chevron: Two Hummingbird spp.
Reverse:
Hummingbird spp. (Anyone know the species?)

8 Reales Madness Collection
Look for partners that realize both parties should profit and try to always stick with "epop"
(each pays own postage). Over time you can can turn duplicates and stuff you don't value
into a real collection. Try to avoid sending junk since it just eats up postage ultimately.
You're really bitten off a big chunk with birds. There is a vast number of coins depicting birds.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
I will be interested in acquiring new pieces in the future, once I get some funds freed up. I'll be sure to post a want list when I'm ready. Thanks for all of the earlier friendly offers, though!!
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

Wow!! Those are rare. Heavily counterfeited as well I think.
That's about all I could afford though, is a counterfeit!
They do have more affordable ones in smaller denominations.
Got your wren on the British farthing yet? If not, PM me and I shall send one.
The Irish farthing has a woodc@ck on it but I can't remember if I have any of those left or not.
