History calls Clay
Looks a lot like Papelbon. It was a interesting day for both Red Sox and Yankee fans to say the least as the two Rookie Pitchers Buchholz and Kennedy contributed greatly to the AL East race.

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

<< <i> He has the tools, just needs coaching, experience, time, and good health. >>
I'm sure that has to give the coaching staff an ulcer. You can't take a guy out pitching a no-hitter, but at the same time you're watching 100 pitches.... 110 pitches... approaching 120...

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
<< <i>Barndog, why didn't they bring up this guy sooner? I meant from the photo on the Red Sox website his facial features look like Papelbon. I didn't see the game. I just heard about it on the radio. You guys must be pumped! >>
I think the Sox are doing the right thing by taking their time with their pitchers. They've made the mistake in the recent past bringing young guys up too soon (e.g. DelCarmen and Hansen, to name but two) or trading them away too early (e.g. Meredith and Sanchez...I think those names are right) and don't want to mess it up again. I think they took a page out of the Yankees playbook with this one...NYY has done a great job so far with the young guys in its farm system (much to my dismay)
features-wise, I think Papelbon shaves every few days. Not sure if Buchholz knows the sting of a razor yet
